Head Of Trading - AdTech & Data Player - $150k + Super


THE BRIEF

With the online data boom continuing to gain momentum at a rapid pace, we are currently partnering with a growing player in the programmatic advertising space who's unique tech offering is achieving unbelievable results for their clients.

As part of their sustained recent growth, this well regarded Ad-Tech business is now seeking to appoint a new Head of Trading to oversee the day to day management of the Trading and AdOperations function. With a growing team under your management, you will be focused on flawless execution and delivery of campaigns to meet key KPI’s – delivery, performance & COS%.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Platform Expertise (current & future)
  • Campaign Execution to achieve delivery, KPI’s and COS
  • Oversight of campaigns and feedback to trader in a timely manner
  • Leading campaign strategy along with Trading Team
  • In market technical support with Key and Target Accounts where required
  • Overall management of DMP to deliver relevance of segment & accuracy of segments
  • Recruitment, development and retention of Trading Team
  • Be a core contributor to exploring solutions and potential partners
  • Elevate COS issues and pricing out of agreed range
  • Day to day management of team incl:
  • Assignment of workload
  • Upskilling and development plans for each team member
  • Be the go to and address all campaign queries from presales, set up and
execution
  • Working with Sales to ensure efficient processes are in place between
Sales & AdOps
  • Managing whitelists
  • Review campaigns regularly to ensure delivery, KPI’s and COS are being
met & team follow up where required
  • Annual and personal leave approvals
  • Escalate COS impact for discussion and approval during pre-sales and
campaign delivery
  • Execution of all processes incl ensuring team are updating CPR and using
the standard report templates
  • Individual wips with direct reports
  • Day to day management of offshore and work with Commercial Director
to formulate EOM reporting
  • Work with the Commercial Director to identify Inventory Supply
  • Escalate to CD when Platform SLA’s are not being met / tech issues to be
addressed
  • Ensure internal SLA’s are being managed
  • Create and implement team training program incl training and team
development on platform, campaigns strategy, KPIs and execution
