An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Phlebotomist/Pathology Collector to join our Pathology Collections Department at the Austin Hospital and external sites.
Minimum requirements for this position is Certificate 111 in Pathology Collection.
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate a strong background in pathology collections, including home visits, wards and working alone at our external collection rooms when required. Excellent verbal/non verbal skills a must, ability to be able to assess your patients, good interpersonal and communication skills a must. Ability to work alone as well as part of a team. Must be computer literate and willing to learn new systems. Be able to adapt easily to departmental policies. Drivers licence essential.
