The Community Development Unit is recruiting a Community Advocacy Officer to support the delivery of Council’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and associated community engagement initiatives. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are highly encouraged to apply.
Council is seeking applicants to improve non-Indigenous and First Peoples race relations, strengthening Council partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and organisations, and improving Council’s consultation and communication within our communities. Applicant’s should have demonstrated experience in developing and delivering strategic plans and managing multiple and competing tasks, to tight deadlines.
