The Department:
The Royal Children's Hospital provides more than 10,000 surgical procedures per year. An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated individual to take on general wait list duties as a Waitlist and Admissions Officer within our multi-disciplinary team.


The Role:
The Waitlist and Admissions Officer & Bed Allocator will work closely with the bed manager, nurses, doctors, and other staff to manage admissions and theatre bookings to RCH. Part of the day will involve admitting patients, answering of phone calls, entering data into computer systems, booking and cancelling surgery, calling families, and various other tasks as directed.


To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Experience in IBA and Epic software
  • Previous experience in a waitlist management/scheduling role
