Period of Appointment

ASAP to 30 June 2021

  • Provide quality client service and support to the Department of State Growth and stakeholders in facilities management.
  • In accordance with established guidelines, undertake a range of financial duties including raising works orders and supplier payment claim management.
  • Coordinate and manage the Facilities help in-box and allocation of facilities based issues, requests, and complaints within the Property and Facilities team.
  • Address on site facilities management issues, requests, and complaints as they arise and take appropriate corrective action in a timely professional manner in line with established guidelines and practices, or progress matters that require attention by other team members to the appropriate team member.
  • Participate in the preparation, communication, and management of relevant guidelines, business processes and supporting documentation on facilities management.
  • Support the delivery of concierge services to internal and external colleagues, clients and stakeholders in the Parliament Square building, including dealing with challenging interactions and diffusing difficult situations, or, where appropriate escalating to supervisor.
  • Support the issuing and control of security passes to Department buildings.
