The Role

Reporting to the Online Sales Support Manager, in this casual role you will work alongside our dedicated Online Sales Support team to provide our customers with any support they require. The working hours will be determined by the needs of the business, however you will be offered a minimum of 2 shifts per week which can include weekend work. Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving online sales through exceptional customer service
  • Providing administrative support for Beacon Lighting, the Beacon Lighting Trade Club, our eBay and Amazon store and social media platforms
  • Supporting the appropriate websites and any new websites that are developed by ensuring products are updated online and images and text are displayed correctly
  • Being flexible with your availability, including working additional hours during periods of leave/absence
  • Working in-store for your first 2 weeks to gain a hands-on experience with our products

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in retail sales and customer service
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to sell products over the phone
  • A passion for design and a desire to learn
  • Strong skills in POS systems with a proficiency in general computer use
  • A moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook (Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Great problem solving skills and a knack for resolving issues
