About the Role

This exciting opportunity will provide exposure to a diverse portfolio including policy, settlement, community engagement and community resilience. The successful candidate will have the ability and willingness to manage a high-volume workload with a focus on administrative support to both the Director of Community and Policy and the broader Community and Policy division.

You’ll be working with a diverse mix of driven, personable and professional people who really care about making a difference for people and the NSW community.

This is temporary role of up to 12 months in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013.

A Recruitment Pool may be created for future similar ongoing and temporary roles and is valid for a period of up to 18 months.

About You

We are looking for a proactive individual who has strong communication and administration skills, including extensive experience in diary management, coordinating stakeholders and managing correspondence. You’ll bring your knowledge from supporting directors in similar roles, drawing on your skill and ability to plan, prioritise and execute according to work priorities.

Most importantly, you are a highly collaborative and agile person who is able to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. A team player who demonstrates a great work ethic, a positive can-do attitude, with high attention to detail and discretion.

Essential Requirements

  • Extensive experience in providing administrative support.
  • Experience in arranging meetings, diary management and scheduling identified matters for follow-up.
