The Marketing, Media and Communications team are enthusiastic ambassadors of Charles Darwin University (CDU) and the value it creates for our students and the community. We work to advance and strengthen our university brand and raise awareness of CDU through advertising campaigns and the website. We attract prospective students through a range of events and engagement activities, and reinforce the university’s relevance in the lives of key target audiences through strategic brand stewardship. Enhanced communications and relationships with students are fostered through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) function and systems.
As Digital Customer Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and effective utilisation of the University's CRM system and Marketing Automation system. This will involve implementing enhancements to the CRM system (Oracle Service Cloud) to enable quality interactions and better meet the needs of prospective and current students.
In addition, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring and enhancing automated campaigns to ensure they are functional and well considered, via the Marketing Automation System (Marketo).
Further responsibilities will include the execution, and continuous refinement of recruitment and retention marketing programs and consumer relations strategies.
Completion of a postgraduate qualification Information Technology, Marketing or related field with relevant work experience in the areas of customer relationship management/relationship marketing or an equivalent combination of relevant training/education and experience is essential. Experience working with CRMs/databases and familiarity with marketing automation system deliverables and capabilities will be fundamental to your success, as will excellent communication and interpersonal skills and advanced project management skills.
