Continuous Improvement Manager

Your purpose:
Take charge by leading IWS (Integrated Work System) and be an advocate for change processes by using your technical understanding, offer guidance and solutions to the how, what and why!

The key outputs of the role:
This is a varied and high-profile role where you will be required to implement and embed strong process, working closely with Production and Line Managers, to ensure long term plans are mapped and building capacity and capability. Work right from shop floor to senior leaders to equip and coach our team to ensure success of our products.

  • Facilitates development of Plans to address losses and build capability
  • Providing coaching to teams and their leaders
  • Drive performance and support a CI culture from leadership to the shop floor.
  • Focus on Zero Loss

What you will bring:

  • Your strong ability to communicate effectively, with purpose and confidence as well as influence change will be first and foremost
  • Your ability to identify areas which could improve, offering solutions and initiating change will then be key
  • You will have strong influencing skills with the ability to coach and guide teams, not only in their development but around the journey
  • You will understand what a high performing team and environment will bring while being active in the manufacturing process and change
  • A background in production, quality or process engineering is ideal, however leadership and change are expected, along with your experience in continuous improvement (IWS & Dairy experience is advantageous)

You will be engaged with the team looking for value add opportunities while understanding loss, defects and foresee areas for continuous improvement.
