This is a highly rewarding but challenging "6 Month Maximum Term Full Time" role located in our Mount Waverley Office within the busy Retail Systems Estimating team and supporting Sales, Marketing, Operations and Studio M by maintaining the company’s retail option inventory in our retail systems.

    Reporting to the Retail Systems Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and maintain retail system(s) and database(s);
  • Establish retail prices in accordance with company margin and cost schedules;
  • Apply retail prices to all inventory items in accordance with company standards regarding geographical area, supplier, product categorization, cost and required margin;
  • Ensure the variation price file is kept up to date with both product and pricing and made available to all stakeholders via retail system(s);
  • Assist in the development of margin reporting at point of sale;
  • Ensure retail option inventory is accurate and up to date including: Product Inventory Codes, Item Descriptions, Retail Prices, Images, Quantities and the Configuration of item for selection by the user;
  • Establish contract wording for all options;
  • Co-ordinate and contribute to the operational and production process for all options; and
  • Provide support and liaise with relevant departments across: Studio M, Sales Estimating, Building Estimating, Customer Support, Marketing, IT and Sales.

    The successful candidate will have:
  • Suitably qualified in or currently completing a Diploma of Building Construction or similar and/or relevant trade background e.g. carpentry;
  • Knowledge of the Sales, Workflow and Construction processes;
  • Working knowledge of the Building Code and regulations;
  • Intermediate computer skills, in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; and
  • Experience using Estimating system(s) (e.g. BusinessCraft, Timberline, Databuild etc) is preferable.

  • A can do ATTITUDE.
