The Research Governance Officer is responsible to the Manager Research Governance and Ethics, Office for Research, Southern Adelaide Local Health Network for the overall efficient and effective coordination and provision of services Research Governance Officer is responsible in all matters pertaining to research governance within SALHN as per the SA Health Research Governance Policy.
Research governance is a framework used to ensure that research is conducted responsibly, safely and is scientifically and ethically sound. Research governance considers legal compliance, accountability, quality, safety, privacy, risk management, financial management and ethical acceptability.
