Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of the NSW Justice sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.
About the role
Provide support and assistance to female residents of the Transitional Centre through a responsive, tailored and flexible support approach to facilitate community reintegration. The program aims to address the individual and complex transitional needs of residents through the delivery of high quality individual case management including the provision of clear and accessible channels of communication, counselling, negotiation and assessment services on a range of family, social and legal issues to contribute to the transition of offenders from correctional to post-release living. Your case management experience and commitment to working with residents who present with complex needs are integral to the success of the transitional centre program.
