Support Officer / Associate


The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) is looking for an experienced, efficient and motivated person to join our Executive Support Unit to assist the ICAC to undertake its purpose to investigate, expose and minimise corruption in and affecting the NSW public sector.


SUPPORT OFFICER / ASSOCIATE

ICAC Officer Grade 1C

Temporary Full time for a period up to 30 June 2021

Primary purpose of the position

To provide administrative services to support the Executive Support unit, as well as the presiding Chief Commissioner or Commissioners, investigation team and legal team to facilitate compulsory examinations and public inquiries held by the Commission. Undertake switchboard and receptionist duties for the Commission as required.

  • Demonstrated administrative and clerical experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and an ability to quickly acquire the skills to maintain databases and systems utilised by the Commission. Also ability to use a computerised switchboard within a short timeframe.
  • Demonstrated organisational and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be discrete and maintain confidentiality and experience working in a sensitive environment.
  • Ability to acquire the skills to act as Associate at ICAC hearings and relate well with other staff and external parties involved in ICAC hearings.

Remuneration

Total remuneration package valued up to $85,823 pa (Salary $69,585 - $77,423 pa) incorporating employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. The position also receives an Associate Allowance of $6,663 pa.
