The team at The Brighton are on the hunt for a Front of House and Functions Supervisor to join the leadership team.

The successful candidate must be a strong leader with good communication skills who is comfortable leading and working as part of a team. This candidate must be able to multi-task efficiently, be proactive, and strive to give excellent customer service.

  • Has a passion for the industry and are committed to a successful career in hospitality

  • Projects a friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude at all times

  • Leads by example at all times and delivers exceptional customer service

  • Enjoys working with others in a team environment, whilst leading from the front

  • Possesses exceptional customer service and presentation skills

  • Has both restaurant, bar, functions and gaming service experience

  • Thrives under pressure

  • Maintaining and exceeding overall minimum standards

  • Training and development of staff to ensure a consistently amazing customer experience

  • Ensuring policies, procedures and standards are current, effective and clearly communicated

Essential requirements:

  • 2 + years of venue experience

  • Valid RSA

  • Full working rights in Australia

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team

  • Give clear and concise instruction to fellow team members

  • Ability to problem solve and think quickly in high stress situations

  • Must be able to manage customer complaints

  • Participate and support fellow managers in weekly meetings
