Customer Service Representative


The Role Reporting to the Team Leader Civil, the ultimate aim of this role is to provide our customers with a positive experience when enquiring and ordering from Iplex.
Based in Chipping Norton, you will be a conduit between sales, order entry and delivery. You will promote sales by delivering timely and efficient service to each customer whilst utilising the functions and services of our organisation.
About You Your success in this role will be determined by your enthusiasm, commitment and willingness to learn. Whilst training is provided, you must demonstrate a dedication to providing exceptional customer service and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Your fast and accurate data entry and strong computer skills, together with technical skills, prioritising and problem-solving abilities will be critical to your success.
Working with various team members, you will have excellent communication skills and a positive, enthusiastic approach. Industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
This role is a great fit for you if you have:

  • A minimum 1-year experience within sales or customer service role
  • Tertiary qualification within business administration, advantageous but not essential
  • Experience using JDE or similar ERP software would be an advantage
  • Product knowledge in PVC pipes would be an advantage
  • Ability to negotiate solutions that balance business and customer needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, naturally self-driven and a positive attitude
  • Excellent time management, accuracy and attention to detail
