The Position

We currently have a casual opportunity for a sales-orientated go-getter to join our Call Centre team!

This role will primarily be based in our Brisbane Call Centre. It will also include working in our Freight office which is based at the same location as the Call Centre, as well as working in our Travel Centre in Roma Street as required.

Working in a team that is focused on continuous improvement and maximising our customer experience, your role will include the following:

  • Providing consistently excellent customer service, over the phone and in person.
  • Converting customer enquiries into sales, creating higher revenue and yield.
  • Building a rapport with walk in clients to leave a lasting, positive impression of Greyhound.
  • Accurately sort, package and consign freight ensuring distribution to the correct location.
  • Ensure compliance with all Greyhound policies taking particular note of freight restrictions and guidelines.
  • Lift and manoeuvre freight safely, in line with manual handling guidelines.

Experience and skills required:

  • You will love meeting people from all walks of life!
  • You will hold top class customer service skills with the ability to delight our customers.
  • You will have outstanding communication, organisational and computer skills.
  • You will be eager to deliver results and demonstrate a positive and professional work ethic through honesty, integrity and resilience.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role where a strong customer orientation was displayed.
  • Previous sales experience whereby enquiries were converted into sales.
