About the Department

St. Vincent’s Mental Health (SVMH) includes an adult area mental health service for the inner city areas of Yarra and Boroondara.

About the Role

This position is responsible for the provision of administration support and will form part of the administrative support team for CAT (Crisis Assessment Team) and PICT (Primary Intervention and Care Team).

The classification for this position will be YC88 ($58,442.80 per annum pro rata).

Duties

  • Act as a front line contact for the Service
  • Monitor, answer and administer telephone enquiries including intake calls in an effective, consumer focussed and professional manner.
  • Data entry into various Health and other IT systems
  • Manage data management platforms and processes including data collection, collation, reliability checks and report generation

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge, experience and ability in the provision of administrative functions.
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to determine workload priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in the maintenance of office systems.
  • Experience in working with medical records or the ability to learn within a reasonable timeframe.
