HR Change Analyst

  • Annual Salary Range: $86,558 – $98,210 per annum, plus superannuation
  • Tenure: Fixed Term – 12 months
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Usual Work Location: Melbourne CBD (currently work from home)

The People and Business Division provides business enabling people and corporate services functions, to drive a high-performance culture and to support integrated operations.

About the Opportunity

The HR Change Analyst will be responsible for documenting and mapping core HR processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing, and implementing change plans and communications. The primary purpose of this role is to provide specialist process change management knowledge and experience to increase efficiency of core People & Culture processes for the Department. With a transformation program underway to improve system capability and processes, you will draw on your experience to identify gaps, develop solutions and implement a range of process enhancements, aligned with the department's strategic growth.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Applying specialist process optimisation and change management knowledge and experience to develop and implement process change initiatives and projects across the department
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in ways of working and develop solutions to increase efficiency and drive collaboration
  • Investigating, mapping, documenting and communicating identified opportunities for process change
  • Support and contribute to the development and delivery of agile change, communication plans
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of accurate, consistent, clear and concise communications and training
  • Coordinate and schedule relevant activities for key stakeholders affected by the change to identify and deliver training
  • Work within the broader team, contribute to the development and documentation of business processes and training material to support end users

About you:

  • Apply innovative problem-solving skills to effectively source information and input data for analysis that leads to effective recommendations and solutions
  • Excellent communication skills which are clear, effective and appropriately tailored to different audiences
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with a broad range of teams and individuals across the organization
  • The ability to build rapport with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge and experience with change principles, practices, methodologies and tools
  • Demonstrated experience developing, tailoring and effectively executing change and communications plans
  • Ability to work well within a team and navigate a large and complex workplace
  • Experience with complex large-scale change projects


  • Tertiary qualification and/or proven experience in change management or related field
