Your New Opportunity

As a Territory Manager representing Samsung you will manage a group of accounts maintain, to help grow and achieve sales and profit targets through sales, training and product display of Samsung IM products.

The Territory Manager is responsible for managing a group of stores and licensee/franchisee accounts, creating an action plan to deliver sales order increase, sell out growth, market share gain & product knowledge and advocacy through professional relationships at all levels. You will be Samsung Ambassador in your territory ensuring sales targets are exceeded, product experience is perfect & development of strong business relationships at all levels in store and channel.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overachieve revenue targets & market share growth through the creation of sales strategies
  • Create and execute strong joint business plans as per business needs
  • Negotiate with relevant store managers, licensees and franchisees across sell in, sell out
  • Train store staff on how to sell the products through feature / benefit / storytelling techniques
  • Deliver on mystery shop training & training standards and improvements.
  • Conduct and organise training in Samsung and partner channel retail stores or events, as well as afterhours training where necessary especially at flagship stores
  • Achieve set business targets, develop a monthly and quarterly plan to ensure proactive compliance in store to minimise your time spent on compliance and cases
  • Assist with product installations/displays for new product launches
  • Ensure any POS or VM material missing is reported and fixed as per compliance standards
  • Develop and present monthly and/or quarterly business plans to achieve KPIs
  • Act as a general escalation point between Samsung and channels to assist in issue resolution
  • Assist Samsung to understand the key issues in field and help to provide tactical and strategic solutions back to the business
  • Develop strong collaborative business partnerships with all store level staff
  • Attend all necessary meetings/events to ensure key objectives are realised and executed, and organise events and activations where necessary
  • Create, implement, manage and review effective revenue generation ideas in key locations

Qualifications and Experience

  • Cert IV in TAFE or Business management preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in competitive sales/retail environment
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in competency based training programs and assessment
  • Proven ability to extract and translate technical information into appropriate language for the target audience
  • Presentation experience to large groups
  • Advanced understanding and knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • The ability to undertake physical labour when the need arrives
