IKEA Food Co-Worker (Kitchen Production)

  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A safe mindset, and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive heavy lifting
  • Have availability to work a rotating roster with shifts ranging from 6am to 10pm everyday and 3 out of 4 weekends a month
  • Previous experience in a fasted paced kitchen environment is highly regarded


As IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Preparing, presenting and serving the highest quality food to both our customers and co-workers
  • Ensuring your assigned area is always clean, tidy and presentable
  • Complying with strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks
  • Supporting other areas of IKEA Food where needed to ensure annual goals and targets are achieved


A key role of the Kitchen Production team is to prepare and serve food, including our world famous meatballs, to both our customers and co-workers. Together we strive to deliver a prime food experience for the customer during their shopping journey and ensure our shoppers and their stomachs are truly satisfied.
