This role requires high level interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of digital communications. Reporting to the Product Manager, Websites, you will need to help with the build and publishing of the Department’s digital channels, particularly our website and intranet. Working across the Communications Division, you will help produce a range of Department communications and support the team in their development of digital communications. Your ability to be customer focussed and a demonstrated ability to advocate for digital best practice are a must. The successful applicant will have the ability to support the team and be adaptable.
We're looking for digital specialists to help us support the Department of Education and Training's website.
This is where you come in. Working with subject matter experts, you'll review content to make sure it's digital-first and meeting standards. You'll identify presentation options and give advice on any fixes or improvements.
Importantly, you'll also be able to explain and demystify the standards for stakeholders who are new to digital.
Finally, you'll be comfortable jumping in with the rest of the team to populate content. This will include dead link checking, debugging basic HTML, and general content QA tasks.
