Applications Functional Consultant

About the program

The Applications Functional Consultant will be a member of the ICT Team. This team plays a key role in supporting and improving business processes across the application stack at MCM. The team currently supports a varying collection of applications but is particularly focused on the Microsoft Dynamics Space.

About the role

This role reports to the Applications Manager and will be part of the team responsible for providing ongoing core business applications support and improvements to users to ensure business operations and service delivery continuity.

  • Day to Day troubleshooting and Support of Application
  • Configuration, Testing and Training of Application
  • Support and work within project teams to delivery Business Process Improvement

Skills and experience


  • Minimum 3 years of experience with or Microsoft Dynamics administration, business analyst or development
  • Application Specialist Certifications and specialised knowledge of specific application platforms including best practice for delivery of application changes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build business partnering relationships throughout the organisation is critical, as this will assist in gathering the right data for analysis as well as provide the platform to influence the decision-making process
  • A strong proven background as a Systems Analyst, with experience in business change programmes where technology is the enabler via a configurable system
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in high demand and high-pressure environments
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Advanced Excel, Word, and Visio skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or any related field from an accredited institution.
