As Veterinarian and Animal Welfare Officer you will be required to provide high level leadership and specialist advice to support the conduct of all activities at the University involving the use of animals. Working autonomously the role supports world class research, teaching and animal welfare outcomes through the provision of clinical veterinary services, technical support, advice and training, and the creation of associated policies.
If you are an enthusiastic, team-oriented veterinarian with a strong drive to deliver the highest standards of animal welfare and veterinary care then we would love to hear from you. Ideally, you have experience in production animal medicine, people management, research practice and technical skills based training. Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent, and you are passionate about delivering the highest standards of professional behaviour and customer service to support internal and external stakeholders.
