Job Description

Are you an experienced Demand Planning/Supply Chain Analyst looking to join a global ASX listed organisation and take the next step in your career?

As a valued part of the Supply Chain – Operations Excellence team, your role will be to ensure the availability of our equipment to meet demand across Australia, whilst optimising network costs. Based at either our North Ryde or Derrimut office, this role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning and Systems.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assist with the periodical demand, supply and transport review process
  • Support the on-going planning and optimisation of our network using JDA Planning Software
  • Develop short and medium term demand forecasts for our equipment
  • Prepare the production forecast to meet the demand forecast and ensuring costs are minimised
  • Collaborate with our transport partners to develop the weekly plan for the relocation of our equipment around Australia
  • Review stock levels to ensure service levels are maintained

The position is suited to a recent graduate with some exposure to planning within a demand, production or transport environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline
  • Planning experience within demand, production or transport
  • Experience using JDA Planning Software for stock and production management
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience in SAP required
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills a must
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise across all levels
