<span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">The Training Manager <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">will <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">lead and manage retail training initiatives for Sephora ANZ. You will develop and deliver innovative and contemporary education initiatives and programmes which enable the Australasian organisation to meet its business objectives via a skilled and engaged retail workforce. You will take ownership of the development, delivery and deployment of retail education initiatives, develop and evaluate course material, in addition to the local deployment of global/regional training initiatives within the ANZ market. <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Reporting to the Head of Training with you will lead a team of field trainers supporting a wider dynamic education team. <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Job responsibilities include:

  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Develop, deliver, and evaluate a variety of training programs and initiatives for the wider retail teams
  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Managing the deployment of training objectives and the transfer of learning with field training team members
  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Coach and develop Field Training Executives to deliver best in class training programs and field coaching.
  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Adopt a commercial and client centred approach to training content and collaborating with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure Sephora business needs are met.
  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Stay abreast of client and industry trends, internal communications, and work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency across the Sephora business
  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Manage training schedules and record maintenance, preparing brands and retail teams accordingly.


<span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Skills and experience required

  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Min 5 years of experience within a Training Function, ideally in retail or in environments with many brands
  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Client centric mind set
  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Entrepreneurial and able to work in a fast paced environment with numerous stakeholders
  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Hands-on and solution-oriented with the ability to manage and lead others to do the same
  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Excellent communication skills (verbal, written email)
  • <span style="font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Strong interpersonal skills (listening, negotiation, influencing)
