Brief Description about the role:

An exciting administrative position has arisen within the Mental Health Intellectual Disability Initiative - Adults (MHIDI-A) program. This role forms an integral part of ensuring that the program runs smoothly and efficiently to meet client’s needs and operational demands. The administrative officer is responsible for assisting in the day to day running of the administration area, ensuring daily key performance indicators are monitored and support to staff while a high level of customer support is provided to our clients, families and key stakeholders.

About The Role

The MHIDI-A service, also known as Stronger Together, is a specialist community based mental health assessment and consultation team for people (16 years and over) with diagnosed or suspected mental illness and co-existing intellectual disability (dual disability) who live in the Monash Health Mental Health services catchment. MHIDI is part of the Monash Health’s Mental Health Program. Working within a multi-disciplinary team we provide assessment, treatment and intervention which aims to improve the quality of life for people who have a dual disability.

You enjoy working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and you have a strong commitment to providing high standard holistic care to both patient and their families/carers.
