Ensure that all weld methods and weld sequences meet and conform to standard requirements.
Compiling of all night shift weld mapping and correct consumable control.
Liaison with relevant Coating Inspectors to ensure welds meets specified coating standards, NACE.
Identifying areas of weaknesses to Site Management and recommend corrective actions to ensure early response and solutions so not to effect quality issues and meet clients expectations.
Monitoring the welding processes and welding consumables.

Ability to conduct all inspections, monitor the performance / status of contractors welding inspectors, supervisors, welders and NDT Technicians.
A good ability to work in a team environment with excellent leadership skills and provide motivational / mentor support to those less experienced.
Capable to identify manufacturing issues and take the necessary action to resolve and bring them into place with the standards required whilst providing an expert managerial role.
